BLOOD FLOW RESTRICTION TRAINING

Although only recently coming into vogue, Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) has been studied in the sports science literature since the early 70's. As a result, a great deal of detail exists on how best to use BFR for your training or rehabilitation needs.

BFR uses low load, high repetition training to gain similar strength and hypertrophy gains as seen with heavy resistance training. This is particularly awesome for people who are injured (load compromised), because they can maintain/improve their strength while injured.
